The hurricanes from the past two years have had a tremendous impact on tourism which, of course, includes the charter fishing industry. Unfortunately all the fishing fleets along the gulf coast have had to raise their hourly charter rates to compensate for the huge increases in fuel prices that we have experienced over the past year.
